Very good condition Marlin Model 1893 lever action rifle in .30-30 caliber that is serial number 255xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1902. Mechanically functions fine. Rifle is a rare takedown model and the takedown function works fine. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. 26” octagonal barrel has original sights. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. A hard to find Marlin Model 1893 takedown rifle that will make an excellent addition to a collection.
