Good condition antique Russian Krnka Model 1870 Dragoon Rifle in 15.2 x 41R caliber. Mechanically functions fine. Lock is dated 1867 and brass breech is marked with Russian eagle and Tula “hammer”. Metal is mostly worn to the white. Bore is dark and pitted with visible rifling. Stock shows heavy wear, and there are two added bands, with one of the originals missing. This rifle appears to be an Afghan bringback, but I have no documentation to this effect. Complete with a replaced clearing rod. A very rare Krnka Dragoon Rifle in any condition.
