Very good condition original WWI Imperial German LP-08 Artillery Luger softshell holster. Designed to attaching to a shoulder strap, never modified with belt loops. Maker marked “AWM” on the reverse and dated “1 15” for January 1915. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear and one hole. Stitching is tight. Has ink stamped American soldier’s name under the flap and comes with a “placeholder” cleaning rod to help keep its form. A very rare Artillery Luger softshell holster that will make a fine advanced addition to a collection.
