Good condition original WWI German Mauser Ersatz bayonet. This patter is shown as #22 in Carter’s book. Bayonet has a Fraktur letter proof mark on the blade spine. 9 ¾” blade has original bright finish with some graying and light pitting. Brass grip has even color and some dings. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in a steel scabbard that has excellent blue finish and no dents. A good example of a hard to find WWI German Mauser Ersatz bayonet variation.
