Very good condition WWI British P14 Enfield rifle in .303 British caliber that is marked “ERA” on the receiver for manufacture by Eddystone. Rifle is import marked on the barrel under the handguard. and has matching serial numbers on the receiver, 1917 dated barrel, and bolt. Rear sight does not match. Rifle has all visible Eddystone parts except the rear sight, which is Winchester. Metal finish is arsenal reblue showing some wear. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock was arsenal refinished. The unit marking disc and volley sights have been removed, but the front volley sight plate is present. A good example of a British P14 Enfield Rifle.
