Very good condition WWII Finnish Civil Guard M28/30 Mosin Nagant Rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Sako Arsenal marking on the barrel and dated 1940 along with the Civil Guard “Sk.Y.” marking. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has matching serial numbers on the barrel and bolt. Floorplate does not match and buttplate is unnumbered. This is correct and common for Finnish rifles. Metal finish is excellent original blue. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side buttstock has a nice “39” dated Civil Guard cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice Finn Civil Guard M28/30 Mosin Nagant Rifle.
