
Very good condition pre WWII US Model 1903 Springfield Rifle in .30-06 caliber. Receiver is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” and is serial number 1093xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1919. Barrel is marked “SA” for Springfield Armory and dated “7-34” for July 1934. Bolt is marked “BF 38” for Bonney Forge. Rifle has mostly Springfield parts with a few small Remington “R” marked parts. Metal finish is nice original blued and parkerized showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent, like new with sharp rifling. Stock was arsenal refinished and shows some handling marks and dings. Left side of stock has a Raritan Arsenal “RA-P” rebuild stamp below the rear of the receiver. Underside of wrist has a “circle P” cartouche and is also marked “00”. Underside of forend is marked “P” in front of the triggerguard. A really nice 1903 Springfield rifle that will make a fine addition to a collection and a good shooter.
