
Excellent condition WWII British No. 4 MK I (T) Enfield Sniper Rifle that is marked “M/47C” on the left side of the receiver socket for manufacture by BSA (Birmingham Small Arms Company) Shirley and dated 1944. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, forend, and bolt. Rifle is in all correct original configuration. Buttstock has original cheekrest and is marked “S51” on the underside for sniper conversion by Holland & Holland. Top of wrist has a correct separate number that is supposed to match the scope. Rifle is complete with original No. 32 MK I Scope that is also excellent with nice finish and clear optics. Serial numbers do not match rifle. Complete with original steel case. Rifle also comes with original wooden transport case that is in good condition. Handles are missing, but case has original paint. Also comes with original sling. Rifle has excellent original black finish. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side of forend has a small chip by the front band. Underside of forend has a sharp clear matching serial number. A nice original WWII British No, 4 MK I (T) Enfield Sniper Rifle that will make an excellent addition to a collection.
